This original itinerary offers two very different atmospheres, one in the heart of Courchevel's mountain pastures, the other wilder in a secret valley at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park.
You reach the Platta pass (2,408 m) via a pretty alpine track. From here, you switch to the wild side of the mountain, where you'll find flat spots for picnics along a small trail, and a few typical farmhouses along the way.
Variant option (VAE.7'):
Return trip to Col des Saulces from Plan de la Sah: 6km / 300m D+.
