Discover the Plan du Vah lake and Praméruel forest by ski touring.
This little-frequented, fairly demanding route takes you up to the Cave des Creux, where you can enjoy a superb view of the Vanoise peaks.
The route is sometimes reserved for ski touring, sometimes shared with pedestrians, and on the final ascent it runs alongside a ski slope.
At Plan du Vah, you'll need to take off your skis to cross the departmental road.

The path winds up through scree and rhododendrons, opening out onto the Loze plateau. You can take the gondola lift or the Sentier des Verdons (n°17) back down to the resort.

Passing through a protected wilderness area, this path is full of curious geological features related to gypsum. Few people walk this route. Tell someone exactly where you’re going, start out early and do not attempt in stormy weather.
