Each summer, Courchevel 1850 transforms into the alpine capital of Kustom culture. For several days in early July, the Punta Courchevel festival gathers hundreds of custom motorcycle enthusiasts from across Europe to admire exceptional machines, attend bikeshow contests, discover dozens of stands dedicated to the custom universe, and enjoy open-air rock concerts. Between a friendly atmosphere, vintage aesthetics, and mechanical passion, this unusual event finds its place in the mountain setting of La Croisette.
Björka X3 - an extraordinary triathlon
Each summer in Courchevel, the Björka X3 transports athletes into a world of extreme effort and alpine scenery. In early July, this unique triathlon worldwide combines three chained events: 6,000 m rowing outdoors facing the Olympic ski jumps of the Praz, a 12.2 km mountain biking stage to the altiport with a 750 m elevation gain, then 9.6 km of trail running with a 550 m elevation gain. In total, nearly 27 km, with a finish line set against the spectacular backdrop of the runway with Mont Blanc in the background.
Open to solos and trios, the Björka X3 is also a festive experience : DJ, entertainment along the race course, giant screen to follow performances… An demanding race but also a moment of sharing and emotion, attracting both enlightened amateurs and confirmed triathletes.
July 13th Ball
